This region, also known as the Costa de la Luz, is located in the southernmost province of the Iberian Peninsula, Cadiz, just 14 kilometres from the African continent. Cádiz is a destination of great interest, famous for its festivals of international tourist interest, such as the world-famous Carnival of Cádiz and the exciting horse races in Sanlúcar. Moreover, a portion of its territory is part of the prestigious Doñana National Park.

Vejer de la Frontera: White Treasure of Arab Origin

This charming whitewashed village, with its whitewashed houses and Moorish traces, is perched high on a mountain, creating a setting that evokes mystery and devotion in every corner. Sancti Petri: Treasure of marshes and historical charm

Sancti Petri belongs to the municipality of Chiclana de la Frontera, an authentic fishing spot with a historical background. The marshes of Sancti Petri are home to a rich variety of water birds, while the landscape combines dunes, marshes and rocky platforms.

Sancti Petri’s restaurants will surprise you with their combination of traditional dishes and sophisticated options. The village of Sancti Petri, located at the mouth of the channel and the marina, is an ideal place for active tourism activities such as kayaking, boat rentals and windsurfing lessons.

A visit to the imposing Sancti Petri Castle, whose history dates back to the 18th century and which offers a fascinating view of the region, is a must. This castle, built on a small island has a rich history dating back to antiquity. This fortress is a popular historical monument and visitors can take a boat trip to the island and explore the castle.
